Tom is big in Wisconsin

Tom Lamarche is all over the intertubes today.

First, at Prolly's place. Frozen pedal grind, Tom's got ups.

Then, at Pedal Consumption, some hot bank to wall skatepark action.

Tyler Johnson Photoshoot and James' Subrosa

Tyler Johnson has a sexxxy photo spread over on LOVEFIXE. It's safe for work. Via Zlogblog.

The Virgin James Covington is pretty much Chad DeGroot's hairy consigliere (hey that rhymes,) first at Mesh and from the looks of things now at Mr. Bikes N Boards, and he just built up a pretty slick Subrosa Malum with a full Profile gruppo. Check it out:

Website Revision should be ready any day now. REALLY!

Nutcracker 2 Recap

The St. Pete Skirts put on the Nutcracker 2 Alleycat race on Saturday. I got to work the checkpoint in front of my favourite adult beverage dispensing center, The Sake Bomb, where the over 21 year olds had to do a shot of sake, and the under 21's had to do a shot of eggnog, so of course I had a good time. There were secret prizes for the riders who did the most shots of each, of course, which seems to me to be a recipe for disaster, but that's why I don't orgainize races, I just sponsor them and pour sake into paper cups. Anyway, some lunatic named Casey did 23 shots of sake, and some even loonier kid named John did 41 shots of eggnogg. That's almost a half gallon of sweet, creamy, thick and rich eggy goodness. Yes, the egg nogger puked. Casey was just getting warmed up, however. He's from Ohio, you know how those guys roll. Deep.

Sixty-Six riders entered, 67 riders finished, and when the smoke had cleared and the results were tabulated, Profile Fixed rider Elizabeth Morse-Hill beat everyone, including the men, and won herself another set of Profile hubs, that I'd laced into a set of Velocity rims with red and green nipples in a festive Xmas theme. Yeah, Elizabeth is a cat 1 on the road, so she's a bit of a ringer, but she's our ringer. Congratulations to her. To all the guys who got beat by a girl, pedal faster next time.

I also got to be one of the judges for the Fixed Freestyle comp. It was pretty fun, and the riders all kicked ass and sent themselves a time or two, but I'm still waiting for someone to do a 360 slider. Help me out, guys.

Confetti and Nutcrackers

I'm not sure "who bike this is", or who took the pictures, but if it's yours, let me know and I'll send you something nice, cause this is bad ass. Cinelli/Mash Frameset with a Tri-Spoke front and a Profile/Zipp rear wheel. It's probably pretty fast.

EDIT TO ADD

Ok, Now I know. It's Andrew Temkin's bike. He's got more pics on his Flickr. Andrew, send me an email with your address, and I'll send you Tshirt or something. Thanks to Tony Fast for the heads up.

Thanks to Kelby.com for sending it over.

I'm edging closer to completion on a revised Profile Fixed Website. It's gonna be sweet. If you're in Florida this weekend, get to St. Pete for the Nutcracker on Saturday night. Meet at 3pm at Cafe Bohemia. Be there.
